Join the Friends

The Friends of Webber Park Library will hold their first annual meeting on Monday, May 2, 6:30 p.m. at the Webber Park building. Officers will be elected at this meeting by the voting membership of the Friends group; those who hold membership and have attended at least one meeting during the past year. The Friends would like to invite all current members to this important meeting and encourages others in the community to join the Friends of Webber Park.
During their first year the Friends have raised money to support a number of special programs in the library. They held their first benefit book sale in October at the Guilded Salvage. In January they held a birthday party for the library, celebrating 100 years of service to our community.
The group hopes to enroll 100 members during the 100th anniversary year. The current officers, Mary Martinson, Kate Petersen and Marilyn Borea, would like to thank all who have volunteered their time to support the events of the Webber Park Friends and the Webber Park Library. Join us at our annual meeting on May 2.
