Holy week at Camden Churches

Once again the Camden-area churches present an ecumenical Good Friday service at Salem Lutheran Church, 42nd and Dupont Aves., at noon on April 6. All are welcome and invited to come and participate as we remember this day that leads to the celebration of Easter. Salem Lutheran Church is handicapped-accessible.
St. Bridget’s Holy Week activities: Holy Thursday, the Mass of the Lord’s Supper with the Washing of the Feet is on April 5 at 7 p.m. and prayer before the Blessed Sacraments is after Mass until 10 p.m. Good Friday, the solemn Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion, Veneration of the Cross, and distribution of Holy Communion is on April 6 at 3 p.m. The Vigil of Easter begins on Saturday, April 7 at 8 p.m. On April 8, Easter Sunday, the Mass of the Lord’s resurrection is celebrated at 9:30 p.m.
North United Methodist Church invites you to come and welcome the morning with an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. in Webber Park on April 8 to celebrate Christ’s resurrection with music and prayer in the beautiful setting of Webber Park. Dress for the weather! The service is followed by a pancake/egg bake breakfast in the church social hall at 7:30. The meal will be prepared and served by the youth and a free-will offering will be accepted. A traditional worship service in the sanctuary is at 10:30 a.m..
