Letters to the Editor - Your vote is yours - Your vote is yours

    The election is months away and already the Democrats and the Republicans are worried about who will “steal” their votes. They do not own our votes. Your vote belongs to you.    Minnesota deserves the best. Do not settle for less. Do not reward ineffectual politicians with your vote. A vote for more of the same legislation we have been getting is truly a wasted vote.    The gridlock, higher taxes and fees, empty promises and ignoring issues until an election year are the byproduct of a two party system. Both parties believe in more spending, more government control and less personal freedom. Libertarians support liberty, personal responsibility, and more effective, affordable, efficient government, and put people before politics.    The two old parties should thank their lucky stars for Libertarian candidates. When they win, it will give both parties another four years to try to pull themselves together and address the issues Minnesotans care about.
