Garage Sale, June 1
Register by May 6!
It’s time for spring cleaning and gearing up for the 19th annual Victory Garage Sale on June 1. And once again there will be the opportunity for residents who choose not to have a garage sale at their home to reserve a 6 ft. table in the Loring School gym. The “Flea Market” at Loring will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the rest of the sale advertised as running until 4 p.m.
For the last 10 years, the cost to participate in the Garage Sale has been $7, but this year the Board of Directors has approved an increase to $10. This is due to the ever increasing cost of advertising and the fact that we need to replace our signs, most of which have been lost or damaged over the past 18 years. For your $10 you will share in the advertising, and have the use of a sign for the duration of your sale or the use of one 6 ft. table at Loring School. (If you want more than one table please indicate so on your registration and submit $10 for each table.)
The deadline to register for the sale is May 6, to give us enough time to create and print our map. Space is limited at Loring—so if you want a table be sure to register early! Registration forms are available in the spring newsletter (delivered to homes in the last two weeks), on the ViNA website, victoryneighborhood.org, or by calling or emailing the ViNA office.
