Noble Academy's fifth grade classes each set a goal for themselves to read 1000 books by the end of the 2009-2010 school year. On June 3, they reached that goal.

Stu Keroff's and Brian Robertson's homeroom classes have been hard at work trying to reach this goal since the beginning of the school year, with all of the 52 children responsible for reading books on their own to contribute to the fifth grade effort. At present count, the two classes together have read a total of 2019 books, with no end in sight.

Ten months ago Richard Allen Math & Science Academy (RAMSA) opened its doors with 67 students. We were ready to meet our new students, many of which were excited about the new Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM) school. Parents were interested to see what Richard Allen Math & Science was going to deliver. Critics wondered if this was another school that was going to stand the test of time. On June 9, RAMSA graduated 22 8th grade students. I am proud to report that we have met and exceeded the expectations of our community, parents and stakeholders. Below are successes we have accomplished because of the support from staff, parents, community members and volunteers.
