Choral singing: Alive and well at Parkway

Never say that the arts are not alive and well in North Minneapolis. Ranging from Camden Music School to the Northside Arts Collective to Parkway United Church of Christ, we've got you covered.

Parkway's chancel choir sings a wide variety of music including classical gems, music by contemporary composers, spirituals, folk-songs, beautiful hymn arrangements and major works. The choir presents three concerts a year: Christmas, Lent and a light springtime concert.

Parkway also has a bell choir, an art gallery and two concert series for the community: Matinee Musicale featuring local professional and student musicians, and Noel at Noon, an Advent lunch and concert series.

This is an exciting time at Parkway: we have an energetic new minister, an active youth program and an outstanding music program. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!

If you are interested in singing in the choir or ringing in the bell choir, call Parkway UCC at 612-522-2982 and leave a message. If you're not tone deaf, want to work hard and have fun, and would like a sense of community, Parkway could be just the place for you.
